Nandos have teamed up with Monorex to give young people a chance to try their hands at some of the more contemporary artforms.
These include: T-shirt printing, Pen drawing battles, Prop design and Spray painting.
These masterclasses will be headed up by Jimi Crayon, Mr K, Stika, Jamie Brown, Jiggery Pokery and Hit + Run and promise
to be as fun as they are insightful.
Jimi Crayon says:
'We want to give people a chance to have a go at something they might not have tried before and see if we can get them
hooked on a new skill'
There will be music, a freestyle art room for anyone to turn up and draw and of course some free chicken.

My 10 steps to becoming a shit hot freelance creative

1 - Always answer your emails as soon as you read them.
2 - Never intentionally ignore a phonecall even if you think it's gonna be bad news.
3 - Make your bed each morning before you leave your house.
4 - Don't be afraid to tell people your ideas. If someone steals it and does it before you, you were probably never gonna do it anyway.
5 - Concentrate on the job you have on at that moment rather than ones that may come in the future. Now is all you have.
6 - Always say yes when a client offers you a drink.
7 - Never play it safe. Better to fuck up something difficult than to nail something easy.
8 - Never take on to much. Better to do 1 thing properly than 10 things shoddily. Shoddiness only gets hired once.
9 - Only work when you've got work to do. Better to go to the park or museum than stare blankly at a computer screen.
10 - Don't go to the same places or see the same people the whole time

And one for luck now that your making serious dolla!
Invoice immediately and learn to save money. Your not getting paid anything for 30 days and that's if your lucky.

Me and the Pirates take on Adidas

Marketing giants Sid Lee got in touch to hook us up with Adidas Originals. We flew out to Copenhagen to spend 4 days giving a couple of shipping containers an Adidas inspired paint job for Copenhagen fashion week. We spent 3 days painting in 3 different locations in the city. The idea we came up with was inspired by Adidas Originals latest slogan 'Then Now Forever' which is a social comment on Adidas' oldskool roots, its contemporary presence now and its part in fashions future. We took this starting point and decided to go with a constantly changing mural where layer upon layer of imagery built up on top of each-other so the containers looked different as time passed. We then stripped the Adidas related imagery back with black paint to leave a super-crisp Logo at the end (all this on corrugated shipping containers!! keeping things neat and legible was a task in its self!!) On the 4th day the containers were tugged down the river for all to see while we recovered in our hotel from the huge Adidas Party the night before, big up sleigh bells!!! It was a great few days and we can't wait to work with Adidas again. Huge thanks to all the guys at Sid Lee and Distortion. Check the flicks below. Theres a film being made as we speak so watch out for that!!

Monorex teamed up with Courvoisier to present MONO BROW. 8 Artists from the Collective let loose in The future Gallery to create a wicked little 3 day pop-up exhibition. The drinks were flowing, the music was pumping and the walls took a battering courtesy of Me, Alfa, Stika, Disco, Chu, Mr K, Wen and Gauky, each taking out a space within the gallery. Funtimes all round!
